چکیده

Randall, D.A., 1989. Cloud Parameterization for climate modeling: status and prospects. Atmos. Res., 23: 245-361. The current status of cloud parameterization research is reviewed. It is emphasized that the upper tropospheric stratiform clouds associated with deep convection are both physically important and poorly parameterized in current models. Emerging parameterizations are described in general terms, with emphasis on prognostic cloud water and fractional cloudiness, and how these relate to the problem just mentioned.

Real-Time Building Information Modeling (BIM) Synchronization Using Radio Frequency Identification Technology and Cloud Computing System

The online observation of a construction site and processes bears significant advantage to all business sector. BIM is the combination of a 3D model of the project and a project-planning program which improves the project planning model by up to 6D (Adding Time, Cost and Material Information dimensions to the model). RFID technology is an appropriate information synchronization tool between the...

Determination of Trace Amount of Zn2+ Ion in soil, blood and vegetable and water samples by Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry After Cloud Point Extraction Using Selective Synthesis Ligand2-(3- indolyl) – 4,5 di phynyl imidazole.

Abstract A simple, sensitive and feasible cloud-point extraction (CPE) methodology has been developed for the separation and preconcentration of cadmium and lead ions in real samples. The metals in the aqueous solution were complexes with 2-(3- indolyl) - 4,5 di phynyl imidazole.(IDPI), at pH = 7.0 and Triton X-114 was added as surfactant. The variables effecting like concentration of Triton ...

Quantitative Sensitivity Analysis of Physical Parameterizations for Cases of Deep Convection in the NASA GEOS-5

Parameterization of processes that occur on length scales too small to resolve on a computational grid is a major source of uncertainty in global climate models. This study investigates the relative importance of a number of parameters used in the Goddard Earth Observing System Model, version 5 (GEOS-5), atmospheric general circulation model, focusing on cloud, convection, and boundary layer pa...

Separation, Preconcentration and determination of Hg (II) Ion in Water Samples by Cloud Point Extraction Technique Coupled with UV-VIS Spectrophotometry using a New Complexing Agent

In this study a cloud-point extraction process using non-ionic surfactant Triton X-114 for extraction of mercury (II) from aqueous solutions was developed. The method is based on the complex formation of Hg (II) with benzyl (pyridin-2-yl) methylcarbamodithioate at pH 5.5. After preconcentration and dilution of the surfactant-rich phase, the enriched analyte was determined by s...

To date, no observation-based proxy for climate change has been successful in quantifying the feedbacks between clouds and climate. The most promising, yet demanding, avenue to gain confi dence in cloud–climate feedback estimates is to utilize observations and large-eddy simulations (LES) or cloud-resolving modeling (CRM) to improve cloud process parameterizations in large-scale models. Sustain...
